I am giving this as a gift- so I have yet to open it. It looks like a great toy, well made and nice packaging. It looks age appropriate and the colors and soft materials will definitely attract my nephew.
I am unsure what the “product description size” by amazon is referring to- as the product box is 12×8x6- so the toy appears to be 7.5 x 6. It is smaller than I thought according to the GIANT picture and product dimensions.

Piro is great. A very sturdy toy, and a very cute clown. I’m reassured that it passed German quality control as being nontoxic, because my daughter has diligently chewed on it, and undoubtedly consumed some of the paint.
Have you noticed the recent press about lead in the vinyl that the US testing agents feel is “safe” for our kids? Really? Lead is safe? Oh well, that is why I avoid Chinese and American toys now. European standards are much more strict.
